Community-Based Recovery Services (CBRS)

Service Description: 

  • Recovery Coaches (RCs) are individuals in recovery who use their lived experience with addiction and/or mental health challenges to support peers. They provide hope, guidance, and encouragement, helping others explore recovery and achieve their goals.
  • Recovery Support Navigators (RSNs) are para-professionals who help clients with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. They provide case management, guide system navigation, and connect clients to treatment services and community resources.
  • Community Support Program (CSP) provides case management support to clients with a psychiatric diagnosis.
  • Certified Peer Specialists provide emotional and social support to individuals in or seeking recovery with mental health challenges. Their goal is to instill hope, encourage self-determination, and enhance each person’s quality of life.
  • Legal Support (CSP-JI) provides community-based support services to individuals who have criminal justice experiences such as re-entry, parole supervision, and/or probation supervision.
