Monarch House

Monarch House is a 21-bed residential program for individuals who identify as female, are age 18 and older recovering from a substance use disorder (SUD) and related or co-occurring issues. Services include SUD counseling and counselor-facilitated on-site psycho-educational groups; development of an individualized treatment recovery plan and coordination with the Department of Children and Families, parole, probation, medical, mental health, and education agencies. In addition, other services provided include referrals made to outside agencies; medication monitoring, nutrition/daily living skills education, and discharge/after-care planning. Average length of stay is 3-9 months. Clients on or seeking referral for Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) are welcome.

Admission Policy: Clients must meet Level 3.1 ASAM criteria. Monarch House conducts telephone interviews ​Centralized Admissions conducts pre-admission screenings upon receiving referrals from appropriate agencies, including verification of recent detoxification or release from an institution where the SUD history is documented.

WRAP House

WRAP House is a 10-bed residential supportive case management program for women age 18 and older, recovering from a substance use disorder and related or co-occurring issues. Average length of stay is 6 months to two years.

Services include case management, development of an individualized service plan, and mandatory attendance at off-site self-help/support meetings. Case managers coordinate with the Department of Children and Families, parole, probation, medical, mental health, and education entities. Referrals are made to outside providers for counseling and mental health/medical services. Aftercare planning includes staff assistance with clients obtaining placement in permanent sustainable housing. Clients on or seeking referral for Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) welcome.

Admission Policy: Completion of residential programming or 4-6 months of recovery; meet income eligibility guidelines, have recent TB testing verification, financially able to meet program fees.

Harmony House

Harmony House is a 26-bed residential recovery treatment program for males ages 18 and over, who are recovering from substance use disorders. This includes homeless and chronically homeless individuals, and men who want to reintegrate to community living. The average length of stay is between 3-6 months. Services include individual counseling, treatment planning/aftercare planning, referrals to mental health outpatient, medical care, educational/vocational services, and sober housing. In addition, Harmony House provides psycho-educational groups such as relapse prevention, opioid overdose prevention, MAT, life skills, nicotine prevention, as well as HIV/AIDS and health/nutrition education. Clients on or seeking referral for Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) welcome.

Admission Policy: Biomedical/behavioral stability, high risk of relapse, need for structured treatment program, motivation to participate in recovery/treatment.

New Chapters

New Chapters is a 27-bed residential recovery home for men age 18 and older with histories of substance use disorders and possible co-occurring mental health diagnoses. Priority admission for men who entered inpatient treatment as a civil commitment under MLG, 123 Section 35 and are now voluntarily agreeing to further treatment. Clients on or seeking referral for Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) welcome.

Graduate House is a 9-single room substance-free residential housing for men in the intermediate stages of recovery. Services include SRO recovery-oriented accommodations and case management.

Unity House is an 15-bed low threshold supportive permanent housing model that incorporates harm reduction principles for homeless and chronically homeless men, with substance use disorder histories. Services include on-site case management, Individualized Service Planning, linkages to outside services, referrals to health providers, support with probation/parole, and a connection to 12-step programs.
